Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (HR-218)
The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (HR-218) allow the qualified active law enforcement officer (926B) and the qualified retired law enforcement officer (926C) to carry a concealed firearm in any jurisdiction in the United States, regardless of any state or local law to the contrary, with certain exceptions.
Each active officer will be required to provide the following items:

Valid NEW YORK STATE pistol permit.

Law Enforcement ID

No range time need for on duty Law Enforcement Officers

A copy of your last requalification score sheet
Each retired officer will be required to provide the following items:

Valid NEW YORK STATE pistol permit.

Current “retired” Peace/Police Officer ID card from your former department.

A safe, functional Firearm, semi-auto or revolver.

A safe functional holster , strong side, hip draw, covered trigger guard. No shoulder, cross draw or ankle hoisters.

A minimum of 50 rounds factory ammunition per firearm, no reloads.

Reloading devices, magazines or speed loaders and a belt mounted carrying pouch.

Wraparound eye protection, hearing protection and ball cap.
Course of fire, B27 target, Passing Score 70%

25 Yard Line – 8 rounds in 40 seconds

15 Yard Line – 12 rounds in 40 seconds
-
7 Yard Line – 12 rounds in 25 seconds

7 Yard Line – 6 rounds (Double Tap)
-
3 Yard Line – 6 rounds (Double Tap)
-
3 Yard Line – 6 rounds, 6 seconds (Strong hand only)
